In case you missed it, March is International Women’s Month, a focal point in the movement for women’s rights which is near and dear to our hearts. As a woman-founded small business, we aim to empower women everyday in ways that positively impact our own communities and beyond. This month, in addition to introducing a new version of our popular feminist tanks (through which we provide direct support to women-focused NGOs), we are also making it extra easy for our customers to directly support women’s empowerment via any online purchase at check out.

This year we are partnering with Fashion Makes Change, an industry-wide initiative supporting women’s empowerment. FMC works in partnership across the apparel industry to build resilient communities by accelerating a global educational agenda of women’s empowerment and gender equity in supply chain communities. For the month of March, Meg customers have the option at check out to round up their purchase to the nearest dollar or make a donation of their choice. These funds will be dedicated to educating and empowering women in supply chain-communities, aka the often marginalized women who power the fashion industry from behind the scenes.
